Weronika Haustein
Legal advisor
Weronika is an experienced and highly regarded lawyer specialized in advising clients doing business in shipping, shipbuilding and transport. She has almost 20 years of active practicing experience, in litigation and dispute resolution, having worked with two highly notable maritime law firms.
Weronika has wide experience on the whole spectrum of corporate and commercial law on a national and multijurisdictional level. She has excellent client care skills and experience in dealing with foreign clients, she understands the needs of both clients and their lawyers having another legal background.
Currently, she advises, among others, a well-known shipowner (as an in-house lawyer), cargo owners, insurers, port infrastructure operators, and represents clients in arbitration proceedings before foreign arbitration tribunals. In the past, she advised, among others: the largest private shipbuilding group in Poland, foreign shipyards building ships in Poland. She also advised on the offshore wind project for the construction of an offshore wind farm for one of the largest companies in the industry.
She is Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Norway in Gdynia.
